Two OG ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Lonelyhearts Could Be Returning For Season Two

Sam Cochrane and Rachael Gouvignon are likely to return to the Bachelor in Paradise island, because Network Ten probably believe they both deserve another shot at ~TRU LOVE~, but don’t think either can carry their own season of The Bachelor/Bachelorette. Brutal stuff.

NW says they’ve got the exclusive on the first names for next year’s cast of lovebirds horning it up on Fiji, including Cochrane and Gouvignon, as well as a fave from Sophie Monk‘s Bachelorette season last year, short but very cute and kind man James Trethewie.

We all saw Cochrane, another cast-off from Monk’s season, propose to Tara Pavlovic at the end of season one of Paradise. The couple went on to have a very public and bitter break-up, Cochrane accusing Pavlovic of physical attacks, and Pavlovic asserting that Cochrane had been emotionally abusive. The last word on the relationship came from Cochrane, who threatened legal action if Pavlovic didn’t stop “bad-mouthing him on social media“.

With his ex reportedly set to appear on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, and happily in a new relationship, why shouldn’t Cochrane try again to find his forever bae after two many margs in the South Pacific?

According to NW’s source, filming for Bachelor in Paradise has already started, and Cochrane’s presence is 100% confirmed. “Sam’s definitely signed back up – Tara’s moved on, so why shouldn’t he?

Meanwhile you may or not remember Gouvignon, who turned up late into the game for season one of Paradise, and had a crack at both American intruder Jared Haibon and Canadian model Thomas Perass. Spoiler: she did not wind up with either.

Already, Bachelorette dumpee Nathan Favro is rumoured to be appearing in season two of the series, along with exes Richie Strahan and Alex Nation from season four of The Bachelor. Maybe a chance for Gouvignon, an early evictee from Strahan’s season, to rekindle her romance with the rope access technician? 2018 Bachelor villain Romy Poulier is also potentially “in talks to rehabilitate her public image – just like Cochrane and Keira Maguire before her – on Bachelor in Paradise.

Dw pals, we’ll be drinking margs of our own while we keep you up to date on all the news from Fiji.
