Bach Winner Lee Elliott Says He’s “Truly Blessed” To Have Met Georgia’s Mum

Today is just a whirlwind of emotions. Following on from Bachelorette Georgia Love‘s emotional Instagram post this morning thanking winner & newly public love Lee Elliott for his support during her family’s time of need, he’s now responded with one of his own.

The 35-year-old posted a beautiful pic to his own Insta of Georgia and her mum Belinda, who earlier this week was admitted to palliative care for pancreatic cancer.

“Words cannot express just how much I truly wish this was a very different post,” he wrote

“Today is such a mix of emotions. It’s actually not possible for me to to finally tell the whole world that I have found my soul mate, my best friend and the love of my life in you Georgia Love, you are my everything and my world! But at the same time I could not be any more saddened by what you and your family are going through right now. It most certainly puts everything else into perspective and has only reiterated just how much I absolutely want to be there for you & be your rock as you have been mine today and always!”

He described Belinda as an “absolutely extraordinary woman” who he was “truly blessed to have finally” met.

“I can certainly now see where your strength, love for life, sense of humour and beauty both inside & out come from!”

“She’s not really [ok],” Georgia told KIIS FM‘s Kyle and Jackie O of her mum this morning. “We’re all just being as strong and positive as we can be in this situation.”

“We’ve still got a lot of difficult times ahead.”

Our thoughts go out to Georgia, Belinda, and their entire family.
