It’s about bloody time: Australia‘s first ‘Bachelor‘ couple, Anna Heinrich and Tim Robards, are finally getting engaged after they became ~entangled~ on the 2013 season of the show.
In what probably passes for an incredible romance by today’s standards, the pair met on the show and were clearly ordained by fate to be together forever when Heinrich won the season. In a delightful turn of events, the two seem to actually make each other very happy and are still together and (given that they just got engaged) likely intend to be together for at least a while longer.
The couple announced the engagement in a pair of very cute Instagram posts:
According to Tim’s post, he proposed while on a boat on a river somewhere, which is just bloody lovely.
We expressed a bit of scepticism when they first got hitched but it looks like we are the idiots and, actually, reality television love is real. Who would have thought?
(I would not have thought.)
