Nothing amuses Australians more than a comedic traffic situation. That is a huge and unfounded call, but I’m making it because frankly, I can and it segues nicely into my story.
I can tell you that nothing amuses ME more than some light-level road rage, and that’s exactly what you get from this video – for which we can thank Dash Cam Owners Australia, my new favourite Facebook page.
The video is going viral because it basically shows a mexican stand-off between two vehicles where really, the right of way isn’t clear at all. They both sort of show up at the same time, and then just… wait for the other person to budge.
Like, who does have right of way when you both approach at the same time in a narrow street? I don’t bloody know.

The moment we see that the woman in the opposite car is actually a total spicy fitspo grandma and can I be you when I’m older?
When she tells the driver “you are a bully, and a nasty typical man”. Honestly this woman is my hero. NASTY TYPICAL MAN. Fantastic insult. And then she turns when leaving and goes “FUCK OFF”? Masterful.
I’m pretty much on team Cool Nan here, but I do have to give the driver of the vehicle with the dash cam cred for his parting line of ‘Enjoy your conversation with the police, madam”.
Surefire way to rile someone up – call them Sir or Madam. Hands down.
