ASB Rules It OK To Show Cleavage In Australian Ads

The Advertising Standards Bureau of Australia has ruled that a new set of bus stop ads promoting bras that boost your bazookas are acceptable to the public.

The OMB made a splash last year with it’s promise to ‘increase a woman’s bust size for A to C’ using nothing but a few tricks picked up via the House of Slytherin. But some mothers weren’t impressed, complaining that it degraded women and proffered them as sex objects. That may have had something to do with the hilarious puns like ‘Another Cup’ and ‘Double Standards’.

The board deemed that it was “reasonable for the advertiser to show the model wearing the bra in order to advertise the product they are selling and that although the ads focus on the enhanced cleavage the bras allegedly provide, the images are not presented in a sexual or suggestive manner

Aussie Mums clearly need to relax. Last year in the world of boobs not only did a Swedish chain force their employees to wear their bra size on the outside of their clothing, but not-totally-a-woman Andrej Pejic managed to advertise one.

…and cleavage for all.
