The award-winning comedy Modern Family is about to get a whole lot more entertaining in their third season, with the announcement that Arrested Development‘s David Cross is joining as a recurring character.
Cross, who reached cult staus as Tobias Funke, the eccentric husband of Portia De Rossi‘s Lindsay in Arrested Development, will play a council officer who makes matriarch Claire Dunphy (Julie Bowen)’s life a living hell.
