The Cayman Islands Cops Were Called On Armie Hammer Thanks To That Controversial Finsta Vid

Armie Hammer

Armie Hammer was apparently reprimanded by the Cayman Islands cops for posting a video of a lingerie-clad woman he dubbed “Ms. Cayman” to his finsta account, according to Page Six.

Yes, the cops are involved in this ever-evolving saga, but no, not because of the accusations that Hammer is a cannibal.

On Friday, Grand Cayman cops talked to Hammer about posting the video of a mostly naked woman on a bed. As per the Daily Mail, the post’s caption referred to his ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers taking their children to the Cayman Islands.

“Well… my ex (for a very good reason) wife is refusing to come back to America with my children,” he wrote. “So I have to go back to Cayman… which sucks. Except there are a few silver linings. Like fucking Ms. Cayman again while I’m down there.”

In a statement, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said that they had visited and spoken to Hammer about the “suggestive video”.

“On January 15, 2021, the RCIPS received an allegation of misuse of ICT [information and communications technology] in relation to a suggestive video which had been posted on social media. Officers investigated the matter and spoke to the suspect, who was warned about his conduct, in accordance with the wishes of the complainant.”

Hammer was not taken into custody or arrested, and the case against him is now closed, Page Six reports.

Armie Hammer copped to owning the finsta account earlier this week, and apologised for the misconception that he was referring to the actual winner of the Cayman Islands Miss Universe competition, Marriah Tibbets, in his saucy video.

The Commitee Chairperson of Miss Cayman Islands Universe, Derri Dacres-Lee wrote on Instagram that the woman in the video was not affiliated with the competition, and the organisation was “disturbed” by the video.

“I would like to clarify that the person in my video, which was stolen from my private Instagram, is not Miss Cayman,” Armie told the Cayman Compass on the weekend.

“I am genuinely sorry for any confusion my foolish attempt at humour may have caused. My deep sympathies to Miss Cayman, who I don’t know, and to the entire organization, as I had no intentions of implying she was actually Miss Cayman.”

This month, Armie Hammer has been accused of wanting to hurt the women he’s sleeping with, as a woman claiming to be his former sexual partner shared alleged screenshots of confronting, violent and sexually explicit DMs from the actor, including one where he talks about wanting to cut off a woman’s toe.

“I am 100% a cannibal. I want to eat you,” Hammer appeared to write in another of the messages shared to Instagram.

The woman sharing the screenshots, who goes by @houseofeffie on Instagram, claims to have had a consensual affair with Hammer for four years, while he was also hooking up with and conducting affairs with other women around the world. The women have since gotten into contact with @houseofeffie and shared their horror stories.

Hammer withdrew from the movie Shotgun Wedding amid the accusations, making his first statement about the story. “I’m not responding to these bullshit claims but in light of the vicious and spurious online attacks against me, I cannot in good conscience now leave my children for 4 months to shoot a film in the Dominican Republic,” he told Variety in a statement.
