It truly is Ariana Grande’s year to shine. In yet another epic performance, Ariana took over the 2018 iHeartRadio’s KISS-FM Wango Tango fest to perform a heap of her No. 1 tunes including her latest, No Tears Left To Cry. The 24-year-old also gave a very generous preview of her incoming track The Light Is Coming.
Her latest songs are off the album Sweetener, available for pre-order June 20 which isn’t too far away now.
The Light Is Coming features Nicki Minaj. Together, this song will be their fourth collaboration and judging by the bop, their fourth successful team-up.
Performing the song live for the first time, Ari admitted she was “so nervous” but fans seemed to be absolutely frothing every bit of it.
Ari posted a snippet of her performance to her Instagram:
Of course, supportive beau Pete Davidson commented, “Young Legend” and a bunch of love heart emojis on her posts.
In total, Ari performed ten songs at Wango Tango including her major bops Love Me Harder, Let Me Love You, Bang Bang, and Side to Side. She also performed with a rainbow flag in honour of Pride Month.
You can catch the performance of The Light Is Coming below:
The song will officially be released June 20 along with the pre-order.
And again, because Ariana’s fans have ways around the internet, here’s her full performance from the night:
Earlier this year, Ariana took over The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and told fans she’d be dropping something special on the 20th of every month up until the album’s release date. So, with her latest tune hitting the charts this month, fans reckon the album will be unleashed July 20.
Meanwhile, and in case ya missed it Pete got Ariana tribute tattoos the other day. The SNL actor already has a ton of tattoos including a portrait of a young Hilary Clinton, his “hero”.
Of the fresh ink, one is a nod to Ariana’s Dangerous Women album cover with the bunny ears. This tattoo appears behind his left ear while the other tat of Ari’s initials were inked on his finger.
The two recently started dating a few weeks ago following Ariana’s split with rapper Mac Miller.
