Ariana Grande has announced that she is officially engaged (!!!) to her boyfriend Dalton Gomez via a pretty cute Instagram post of the pair. The two have been posting each other for quite some time now, but it’s easy to forgive if you had no idea Grande was even with someone to begin with (they’ve definitely been on the down-low.)
So who the hell is Dalton Gomez? Well, we did some diving for all the tea we could find about Grande’s new boo.
But, before we start scraping tea from the far corners of the internet, let’s take a moment to enjoy the happy couple and their brand new announcement. I mean, look at this cute AF post, and look at that RING!
The couple was actually first seen in February 2020, so there’s no actual tea on when they first started dating. However, for context, Pete Davidson and Grande were only together for a few months before they were engaged… and then split, so take that how you will I guess.
Gomez is a real estate agent who has been working for ‘Luxury Real Estate’ firm Aaron Kirkman Group for five years. According to his agent profile on the website, he’s a “Southern California native” who holds “one of the largest Rolodexes of A-list buyers” in the company, which is something to brag about.
His account on Insta is currently private, and will most likely stay that way.
Some sneaky fans who have managed to screenshot Gomez’s Insta stories have discovered that due to the connections in his job, he knows many a celeb, including Miley Cyrus, who he posted up on Instagram this year.

Grande and Gomez have also publicly celebrated each other’s birthdays, which you may have missed throughout the year given the fact that, well, it’s 2020.
Grande shared some super cute piccies of her and Gomez after her 27th birthday, which was Midsommar themed. Clearly, the party had a different ending to the film, which I’m not going to spoil if you haven’t seen, but let’s just say thank God for that.

So yeah, this couple has existed online for some time, but understandably, Grande has wanted to keep her personal life off the internet whenever she can.
Ariana Grande also made a public post celebrating Gomez’s birthday in August, with some super cute vids of the two, which you can check out right here.
For anyone who has seen Lady Gaga‘s Chromatica Weather Girls skit, you may remember that someone was pouring rain onto Grande throughout the clip.
Yep, that was Gomez, who is said to be spending his spare time isolating with Grande.

There are rumours that Positions could have been about Gomez on some songs, which is an interesting theory that definitely adds ups. Fans have already spotted tonnes of references to Mac Miller on some of the songs, which just means that the tracks about finding new love must be about her new fiancée.
Regardless, a big ol’ congrats are in order for the happy couple. We truly love to see it.
