Your queen Ariana Grande – the woman we all want to be post-breakup/literally any day – is dropping a new series FOR FREE to her YouTube channel tomorrow, documenting her 2017 Dangerous Woman tour, Ariana Grande: Dangerous Woman Diaries.
Sorry, just gotta find someone to cover my shift tomorrow…
In the trailer for the YouTube Original, Grande speaks to camera, saying, “I’m so excited to bring you into the world of the Dangerous Woman Diaries.”
The four-episode series is expected to cover the tour, plus her performance at One Love Manchester, and the making of her 2018 record Sweetener.
Y’all remember the iconic rabbit-eared album/tour – it’s the one that was so important to her ex Pete Davidson that he had it tattooed on his body. The Dangerous Woman tour made its way to Australia in September last year.
In a since-deleted tweet, Grande promised Twitter she’d be online to watch the first episode Thursday November 29 at 9pm PST – which actually works out to be 4pm AEDT Friday.
But in doing so, whoopsy, she misspelled her own hashtag as #dangerouswomandiares. And she fkn owned it.
Here’s the revised promise, featuring Fredo aka Alfredo Flores, the series’ director, who had been making the same mistake as Grande:
Wait I’ve been hashtagging it wrong too @ArianaGrande 😂🤷🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️ #DangerousWomanDiaries
— Alfredo Flores (@AlfredoFlores) November 28, 2018
She’s also popped a second teaser on her Insta Stories, compiled mostly of tour footage from the first, but with a little added explainer of the so-called “tour diary” from Grande: “We wanted to bring you as closely into our world as possible.”
If you’re a YouTube Premium subscriber (if you’re a freak who pays for YouTube), you’ll have access to the whole series tomorrow. If not, sorry, you’re gonna have to wait week to week.
Here’s hoping there’s also plenty of BTS footage from the making of the ‘Thank U, Next‘ clip for a follow-up.
