Ariana Grande Recruited The Actual Aaron Samuels For ‘Thank U, Next’

Ariana Grande

Current reigning queen of pop Ariana Grande has been teasing us with sneak peeks of her ‘Thank U, Next‘ video for what feels like an eternity, and today, she pushed us right over the edge by revealing her newest guest star, Jonathan Bennett, aka Aaron Samuels himself.

In case you’ve missed all the hype so far, the video is set to feature Ari herself in homages to a variety of beloved 2000s-era teen movies, including Legally Blonde, Thirteen Going On Thirty, Bring It On and of course Mean Girls, where Bennett appeared as the object of Lindsay Lohan‘s crush.

Bennett confirmed his cameo in the video by sharing a photo of him on set with Ariana Grande on set:

Ari, who will clearly be playing the Regina George role, shared a few fresh teaser pics of her own:

Ariana’s Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies, who now appears in Dallas, also appears in the video as part of the mean girl squad, and bugger me if she doesn’t look exactly like Lindsay Lohan in these photos:

Linds clearly hasn’t noticed all of this yet, but we can probably expect a rambling, Russian-accented Insta story about it at some point in the next 24-48 hours.

Yesterday, Ariana Grande shared some pics of her writing in a ‘Thank U, Next’-themed burn book, and promised that the video is “coming soon” – it can’t come soon enough, IMO.
