Chris Pratt is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, and his appearance there will be the culmination of a very, very big week of Pratt.
Let’s recap: So far, we’ve seen candid pictures of him looking handsome on the way to the airport, we’ve seen a very amusing series of SNL promos featuring him and Kate McKinnon, we’ve seen a further, much more baffling series of SNL promos with him and musical guest Ariana Grande, and overnight we saw him discussing his awkward first headshot with Fallon.
Pratt’s wife Anna Faris has also been out repping pretty hard for him. Her own sitcom, Mom, returns next month for its second season, but this week she stopped by Ellen, where the subject of Chris Pratt was the main topic on the agenda. They even took some time out during her appearance to prank call the man himself.
I mean, yeah, if I was going to film an appearance on Ellen, I’d warn my significant other, who might expect to see something like this coming, but maybe it’s best not to pull the threads too much and just enjoy. If we may now return to SNL speculation, all I really want out of the coming season premiere is for Cecily Strong and Vanessa Bayer to put Pratt in one of their Not Porn Stars Anymore sketches, and I’ll be pretty gutted if that doesn’t happen.
