It’s done – Love Island Australia 2019 is over, and we have our winning couple. Anna and Josh.

Yep, the longest-lasting couple also managed to be the winners for the season, which is something – last year, Erin and Eden (who has now become a shitosaurus rex so no sadness here) lost out to less stable pair Tayla and Grant. Turns out all the couples weren’t stable but that’s not the point, is it!
Anna and Josh had a pretty uneventful ride through Love Island Australia – they met, they liked each other, there was a brief moment where it looked like Anna might be into Matt, who had slid into her DMs outside of the show. But nothing eventuated except a mildly creepy brother/sister relationship.
What will we remember Josh and Anna for? Kissing like fucking molluscs trying to procreate at all hours of the day and night, thanks to their shared giant lips. I don’t know… lying around? Looking hot together? That one awkward shower they had naked?
I’m bitterly disappointed my ride-or-die faves of 2 weeks or less, Cartier and Matt, didn’t take out the top gong. Oh well, guess I’ll have to just follow them on Instagram and hope they don’t break up within a month.
Anyway, congrats to these guys! They both said I love you this episode too – CUTE.
