An Entire Street Of Cats Has Gone Missing In NSW

Far be it for us to put a dampener on your Friday afternoon, but this is a story that’s too ferociously messed up to ignore.

An entire street in Illawarra have had their beloved cats all go missing over the course of last weekend. There are now concerns that the pets have been trapped and stolen by a dog fighting ring who intends to use them as bait.
At least five cats from the street in Albion Park all vanished between Friday and Sunday last week. One resident, Joanne Collins, stated that her family went out on Saturday night and returned to find their much loved cat Roxy had disappeared.

“I thought she had just gone wandering for the night, but she always comes home. She never stays out at night.”

“Roxy is very selective, she will never approach someone and go home with them. All that could have happened is she was taken.”

Owners of the cats have contacted both the RSPCA and the Police, who stated they were not aware of any illegal dog fighting operations in the region. A neighbourhood search party returned no trace of the animals.

The mysteriousness of the whole thing aside – WHAT KIND OF ABSOLUTE PISSANT JUST LOBS UP AND TAKES ONE CAT, LET ALONE FIVE OR MORE??

Those poor kitties. Please let them come home safe and soon. 🙁
