The one and only Amy Poehler has another directorial project on the way and it’s coming to Netflix. It’s called Moxie and it sounds badass as heck.

Per DeadlinePoehler will also produce the film alongside Morgan Sackett and Kim Lessing. Poehler and Sackett previously teamed up on the former’s directorial debut Wine Country and Parks and Rec.

Moxie, based on the novel of the same name and written by Jennifer Mathieu, introduces us to 16-year-old Vivian Carter.

Viv is beyond fed up with her school. She’s annoyed that the football team can get away with just about anything, she’s fed up with the school’s sexist dress code, hallway harassment, and gross comments from guys during class. Viv Carter is fed up with always following the rules.

Inspired by her mum, who was a punk rock Riot Grrrl in the ’90s (the underground feminist punk movement), Viv decides to create a feminist magazine that she anonymously passes around to her classmates. Viv doesn’t think it’ll become anything but soon, girls start to respond. And just like that, Viv finds herself in the middle of a feminist revolution at her high school.

Meanwhile, Poehler’s other Netflix movie, Wine Country, will hit the streaming giant this May. In it, a bunch of longtime girlfriends head to Napa for a weekend to celebrate their friend’s 50th birthday. With booze involved, you can definitely count on some drama going down.

Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer, Emily Spivey, and Rachel Dratch star in the film.
