America Is Having A Corey Worthington Moment With This Munted YouTuber

Mainstream America has just discovered a young fella whose non-stop party antics are disturbing the hell out of his neighbours, and he seems to be a hormone-powered folk hero capable of rivalling our own Corey Worthington.

Meet Jake Paul, a 20-year-old Disney star and YouTube icon whose West Hollywood neighbours are this close to suing.

For those unacquainted with Paul and his 8.5 million-subscriber channel, we could tell you that he’s one of the most notable online figures who made the switch from Vine to YouTube, but the average vlog on his channel probably does a better job of explaining his vibe.
If that clip gave you a stress headache, please spare a moment for the other residents of his flash suburb. As a result of the copious levels of rabble-rousing and #content creation going on at Paul’s rented pad, local news station KTLA 5 reports neighbours are going to have a chat with authorities about solutions to the mayhem – and may even choose to pursue a class-action public nuisance lawsuit against Paul and the home’s owner if the issues persist.

It’d be easy enough to end the story there and tell you we’d keep you posted on any updates, but the fact KTLA 5 actually rocked up to his pad is also worthy of attention. We implore you to catch the footage below and notice that within a three-minute news package, Paul somehow manages to:

  • Set up the closest piece of television content to the OG Worthington interview we’ve ever seen;
  • Shoot a t-shirt cannon not at the posse of braying fans and fawning wannabe bros, but directly into the upper branches of a tree;
  • Execute a near-flawless “what are those?” on an unsuspecting reporter.
There’s probably more goodness packed away in the background of every single scene here, but to be honest, watching the clip unfold a couple of times is enough for us. It’s time for this one to become part of the culture. It’s time for Paul to have his own Worthington moment.
