It hasn’t been an easy run for Community, the show that was once Dan Harmon’s critically acclaimed, cultish-ly followed, pop culturally referential meta-comedy. But things are starting to look up for the show’s thirteen-episode fourth season, which returns in two weeks sans Harmon but with an extra serve of Chevy Chase, who recently lampooned the show by calling it “fucking mediocre sitcom.”
It’s not like anyone actually cares what Chevy Chase had to say, especially Alison Brie, who earlier today tweeted an adorable cast twitpic with Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi and Jim Rash reconfirming the exact time and return date for Greendale’s next semester. She also raps like a thug, did this, and is way too good for Pete Campbell and the Captain America sequel, which she is currently vying for a role in.
According to McHale there will also be extreme facial hair. Something to look forward to, I guess?
