We’ve just been delivered our first taste of Ali Oetjen as the next Bachelorette in a Bachie ad break (and on Facebook before that) and she’s really trading on the Marilyn Monroe in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes vibe.

We’ve got our man Osher emerging from the dark to help the “unlucky in love” Oetjen “find her Mr. Right“. Then all he has to do is clap his hands and this whole Target rack of handsome men in tuxedoes just appears out of nowhere to form a love heart and raise our new Bachelorette up to the sky.
Turns out Oetjen has some solid pipes on her as she sings The Supremes‘ ‘You Can’t Hurry Love‘ to all the men holding big red hearts with the worst Mr. Men characters on them: Mr. Sleaze, Mr. Moody, Mr. Fake, Mr. Liar, Mr. Selfish, Mr. Ego, Mr. Wrong, and Mr. Cheater.
They dance and she shoves ’em and it’s all very ‘GO GIRL, FIND LOVE’ before Osher returns: “I’m gonna help you weed out the Mr. Wrongs so that you can find your Mr. Right.”
Just throwing it out there but I reckon Osher can’t sing – or else he totally would’ve had the bass part in this one.
Anyway, here’s the whole clip: she looks gorgeous, and we can’t help but want to barrack for her finding someone as good as Tim Robards and a heck of a lot better than that jerk, Grant Kemp.
