Your boy Alexander Skarsgard walked the red carpet this week at a Louis Vuitton exhibit in New York, but with the greatest of respect to the fashion or whatever the hell was on display, all eyes were on Skarsgard’s new statement haircut.
The True Blood star shaved his head bald, but only the top part of it, leaving the sides trimmed in a look that’s giving me some flashbacks to grade nine maths, where my teacher rocked an extremely similar style.
Look, okay, Alexander Skarsgard is a grown-ass adult and can do whatever the hell he wants with his hair and we will support him on his style journey. That said, fans on social media have remarkably little chill about his new shaved situation.
He has been accused of everything from appropriating male pattern baldness to wearing Ron Howard‘s head, and yes, we’ll admit that this new look is certainly a lot to process. Here are some bewildered reactions:

Skarsgard is shooting a new movie, The Hummingbird Project, in Canada, so it’s likely that the new look is for that, but he’s probably also enjoying the internet’s meltdown anyway.
