There are three things certain in this life – death, taxes and MAFS Drama.
Airing merely hours ago, disaster hit the dinner party and very long story short (read more here) Aleks Markovic and Ivan Sarakula were seemingly finito. This was a disaster in many ways as they were my final hope for a successful match. I thought that maybe, just maybe that MAFS model/strategy for a relationship does actually work.
But! There is hope for our fave MAFS couple yet! Daily Mail cleverly did some pre-MAFS sleuthing and found some lovey dovey pics Aleks uploaded to Instagram of her and Ivan. These were taken post filming in November, which seemingly confirms that they do patch things up!
Aleks uploaded the pictures when Ivan reportedly flew to Perth for New Years in a final effort to repair their relationship. It obviously worked because the pics are cute AF and even a little bit – dare I say – intimate.

The pair stayed at the Crown Perth hotel then visited Rottnest Island for smexy beach times.
A source tells the Daily Mail:
“After the show, they both went home, spent time apart and realised they couldn’t see a future without each other. They spoke every day until Ivan flew to Perth.”
All the pics were deleted before MAFS started airing in February understandably, so as to not give away spoilers.
But before you unblock your ex on the ‘gram, it’s my duty to inform you that Aleks and Ivan unfollowed each other on IG earlier this week. So signs seem to point to a no-go on them still being together as of right now.
Help us Aleks and Ivan, you’re our only hope!
