AAMI’s Ketut To Attend Melbourne Cup Carnival

It probably says more about Pedestrian than whoever it is that books these things that the Melbourne Cup attendee we’re most excited about is a fictional character from an insurance commerical. Sorry Prince Charles. Ketut – Rhonda’s subservient Balinese paramour from the AAMI Safe Driver Rewards campaign – will make a brief guest appearance at the Emirates Melbourne Cup Carnival in November, it has been announced.

The actor who plays him – Kadek Mahardika – joins previously announced celebrity guest Marissa Cooper (welcome to irrelevance, bitch) and is expected to appear alongside his radiant campaign co-star, Mandy McElhinney, as both of them fight the urge to turn a Flemington bathroom stall into a biracial baby factory.

He will also smile politely when drunk people in fascinators tell him to keep his eyes on things.
