This is just one man’s opinion, but I’ve always thought that the best part of a swanky event such as the Met Gala is when the heels come off, the hair comes down and the cameras are put away for the lit after party.

And when I say cameras are put away, that does not include iPhones and therefore we’ve been given a sneak peek at what went down inside the lush after party via the tipsy celebs and a coupla sneaky party guests.
Let’s start with Hollywood’s royal couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The pair arrived at Up&Down in New York City at 1:30 a.m. where the reality star channeled her style icon Cher with a silver wig and a plunging neon-blue dress, while the rapper bored us to tears once again in a navy bomber jacket with matching pants.
“Kim spent most of the night laughing with La La Anthony,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly.
Later in the evening, the DJ played West and Jay Z’s 2011 bop ‘N–gas in Paris’, prompting Kardashian to stand up and sit “on the top of her table … bouncing and flipping her sequin wig hair,” according to the onlooker.
“Kanye stood up next to her near the end of the song and swayed along while looking at the floor.”
And they weren’t the only stars hitting the d-floor for the bop, apparently young model Bella Hadid was “ rapping every word and dancing,” the eyewitness adds.
Bellzy arrived at the clurb shortly before her sister, Gigi Hadid, Kardashian’s sister Kendall Jenner and their friend Hailey Bieber, who rolled up in a large, two-decker bus.

“Bella was dancing when the girls walked up and twerked on Hailey and Kendall,” the eyewitness adds.
A video shared on social media shows Hailey and Kenny singing along to Bieber’s bae.
Jenner was also spotted boogying with her rumoured ex-BF and co-host of the evening, Harry Styles.

Mama and papa Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott weren’t letting their mates have all the fun without them. They reportedly pulled up to the party at 2 a.m.
After saying hey to Kylie’s family, the rapper started “jumping on couches and turning up with his friends while taking pictures,” according to the onlooker.

Meanwhile Kylizzle danced with Kendall to rapper Blueface’s smash ‘Thotiana’ before being joined by models Candice Swanepoel and Jourdan Dunn.
When Neil Diamond’s ‘Sweet Caroline’ came on, Kardashian and Kendall “stood up and belted out the song.”
For reasons we may never understand, Katy Perry changed out of her chandelier outfit and dressed up as a giant burger (???).

She later shared a smooch with queen supreme Celine Dion.
Gigi took a photo of Kylie and Scott with a disposable camera. And when Bieber sang along to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus’ hit ‘Old Town Road,’ everyone around her “was impressed she knew every word,” the onlooker says.
Bieber’s ex Shawn Mendes was also in attendance at the star-studded bash, as seen via the below footage:

Kardashian and West left the party at 2:20 a.m., followed by Kendall, Gigi and Bieber. Ten minutes later, Kylie and Scott made their way toward the exit after “dancing to ‘Sicko Mode’ and kissing each other in the VIP area.”
The party did not end there, however, as Black Panther stars Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira reportedly continued to dance well into the night, accompanied by Janelle Monáe and Lena Waithe.
“The squad were all dancing and body-rolling to Beyoncé’s ‘Party,’” the eyewitness adds.
The three Marvel stars ended up staying until almost 4 a.m. and dancing to reggae music.
The other guests in attendance at the afterparty included Stephen Baldwin, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, Natasha Lyonne and Fred Armisen, Trevor Noah, Jared Leto, Luka Sabbat and Serena Williams who snacked on McDonald’s fries and sipped champagne all night. What a queen.
No idea who this onlooker was but man would I love to trade lives with him / her for next year’s event.
