A Bunch Of Very Not-Disney Series & Movies Are Coming To Disney+ & I Spy Bob’s Burgers

Star Disney

I can’t emphasise enough just how long I’ve been waiting for Bob’s Burgers to arrive on a streaming service, as I’ve missed the top-tier cartoon more than I care to admit.

I’m pleased to announce that my irrationally impatient days are soon to be behind me, as Disney+ has announced a brand new entertainment brand joining its existing line-up of Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars and National Geographic content.

Star, arriving on Disney+ from tonight (Feb 23rd), will be home to a smorgasbord of beloved series and movies that I for one was not expecting to live on the traditionally wholesome streaming service.

While the full list of series and movies is yet to be released, we know that a whopping 606 movies and TV series will be added to Star straight out of the gate, with iconic movies like the Alien franchise, Juno, Deadpool, Moulin Rouge, Speed, Dodgeball and heaps more.

Welcome to your new home, Sarah Paulson

When it comes to series, there’s plenty to get excited about as you can see below.

  • Bob’s Burgers
  • Desperate Housewives
  • Alias
  • black-ish
  • Firefly
  • My Name is Earl
  • Cougar Town
  • Ugly Betty

If all of this new content seems overwhelming, prepare to be….overly overwhelmed. Overwhelmed-squared? I dunno, but there will also be a tonne of Star Originals to add to the eyewatering line-up.

A little taste-test lies below:

  • Big Sky
  • Love, Victor
  • Solar Opposites
  • Helstrom

Given there will be 100s of hours’ worth of new content, the monthly cost of Disney+ is being bumped up a smidge to $11.99, but if you already have an existing Disney+ subscription, it will remain at the original $8.99 for six months after Star premiers, which is chill.

Star arrives on Disney+ from Feb 23rd. Tattoo the date on your forearm if you have to.
