PEDESTRIAN.TV has teamed up with Disney+ to announce the upcoming Disney+ Drive-In.

Good news, movie fans AKA quite literally everyone: the Disney+ Drive-In is coming back to Sydney for round two, and the line-up features a boatload of classic gems.

Presented by Openair Cinemas, the Disney+ Drive-In served as our one chance to see a movie outside of our home in 2020, but because drive-ins are just downright nostalgic fun, we’re adding a pile of new screenings into the mix.

Kicking off on March 31 and running until April 29, you can get your fill of classic movies like The Devil Wears Prada, as well as more recent romps such as Thor Ragnarok.

You may have spied with your peepers some movies that you wouldn’t necessarily associate with Disney, but this is all part of the master plan.

As of Feb 23, Disney+ launched its latest brand, Star, which is home to an eye-watering 606 movies and series that include every genre you could possibly imagine. I watched Black Swan on Star last night and the entire time I was thinking, ‘I never thought I’d be watching Natalie Portman sprout feathers on Disney+’.

I digress. Just figure out which movie(s) you’re hankering to watch on the big screen, round up the crew (make sure the person with the nicest car drives) and head here to buy your tickets.

So you don’t go hungry during your movie, DoorDash is offering 25% off orders over $25 for the event. Just grab the app, choose whatever you want to eat and they’ll deliver it right to your (car) door. A genius idea, truly.

Thanks to our partnering sponsors for helping to bring this magical experience to life; Disney+ and DoorDash. The latter will be close by, ready to deliver your favourite movie snacks from local partners straight to your car. So be sure to download the app ahead of your arrival.
