How To Create An Absolute Belter Of A Dating Profile

Creating a bang-on dating profile ain’t easy.
There’s a lot of craft that goes into it. First you need to chose which app(s) to use. Is swiping left and right your thing? Or are you more of a female-must-make-contact-first kinda person? Do you want a profile that will come up when someone Googles your name?
Then there’s the whole selecting a bio and photos part. This is where most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes come undone.
Too many selfies and you’ll look a bit too into yourself. Not enough and they’ll assume you’ve got a face akin to a punched lasagne.
Here’s how to pimp your profile to ensure maximum matches.
VISUALS
When it comes to how many photos you should have, the ideal number is 5. No one’s got time to sift through the whole album of your life. Five is just enough to decide whether or not they’re into you.
The first picture should show your face. This point is clearly aimed at the people who put a pic of them with their hotter friend as the first. Everyone who has had a jab at internet dating will be familiar with the old Oooh yeah he’s cute let’s have a look through… oh…. that’s your friend… you’re the guy wearing the Bintang singlet scenario. Cut that out.
That said, you should have some pictures of you with mates. It proves you’re not a sociopath.
You  should include a mix of high-quality portraits and full-length photos taken in natural light, aka not grainy ones taken on your Samsung. They should be colour pics, too.

WHAT TO WEAR
Women with their hair down get more hits than ones who wear their hair up in a ponytail (unless your name is Yvonne, in that case, WORK that up DO!).
How about clothing?
For blokes, sunnies are supposedly what get the hits. For women? Bikinis.

RECONSIDER THE ANIMAL PIC
Most surprisingly, having a pet in your profile pic won’t actually improve your chances of getting a date. So please, for the love of god, put down that poor dog.
And don’t even think about posing with a tiger.
