Troye Sivan Goes Full Self-Iso Mode With ‘The Project’ Interview At His Parents’ Place

Troye Sivan‘s self-isolation is nothing like yours, but somehow, it’s also exactly the same.

Beaming into The Project last night, the Australian pop superstar celebrated the release of his new tune, Take Yourself Home, with an apt backdrop: his parents’ place.

Due to the ongoing bastardry of coronavirus (COVID-19), Sivan couldn’t make it to the studio, but said he was settling in just fine at home.

“I feel so lucky that my ‘quarantine’ is me sitting at home with my parents, watching movies,” he said.

“I’m restoring furniture at home with my dad, just fun stuff like that. It kind of feels like school holidays again.”

After making the huge decision to temporarily ditch his work in the United States to hunker down in Australia, Sivan said he’s caught up on everyone’s current isolation obsession.

“I’ve watched Tiger King, Carole Baskin 100% killed her husband,” he said, adding that he’s also brushing up on his skills with an online interior design course.

The muso said being forced back into his bedroom could prove to be a positive creative experience, saying he was recently in a conference call with other artists all working through the exact same conundrum.

So, very familiar, but also madly different. You can catch his wholesome chat below:
