With gyms and sporting facilities closed, it can be easy to fall into a trap of not exercising during social isolation. But thankfully, the Keep It Cleaner girls have extended their free online workouts until April 17 to keep us all fit and healthy.

Just last week, Steph Claire Smith and Laura Henshaw announced they were hosting free online workout classes to keep you active during self-isolation.

“With recent events taking place around the world at the moment, we understand getting to the gym can be more difficult than usual. We want to ensure we are offering ways in which we can continue to stay connected, but also encourage overall wellbeing during this challenging time.”

But as the situation grows more serious and the reality that we’ll likely be social distancing for longer than first thought sinks in, the girls have extended their offer until April 17.

The Keep It Cleaner online gym is giving out free live workouts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning to keep you moving even when the gym is closed.

Thank you to everyone who's joined our KIC virtual gym over the past 2 weeks. It's brought us so much joy providing a sense of normality and connection in these challenging times. We recognise how hard it can be to get into a routine at the moment so we're continuing to work on ways we can provide you with motivation and healthy habits during this period. Based on your overwhelmingly positive feedback, we've decided to extend the virtual gym until April 17th! Our new schedule is here featuring fresh variety with meditation, pilates and yoga as well as a HIIT session in partnership with @adidasau available exclusively via their instagram. All other sessions will continue to be streamed live via our pages. See you there!

Classes range from early morning strength and HIIT classes to more relaxed evening meditation sessions to calm you down after a stressful day of working from home. If that wasn’t enough to tempt you, they’re also chucking in a yoga and pilates class, all for zero dollars.

The classes are broadcast live on Facebook Live and IGTV every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, giving thousands of people access to high-quality workouts without the hassle of expensive prices or travelling to a studio.

Just because we’re practicing social distancing doesn’t mean you can’t still work up a good sweat.

If you think you may have coronavirus, either call your doctor (DON’T visit) or contact the national Coronavirus Health Information Hotline on 1800 020 080. If you’re struggling to breathe or experiencing a medical emergency, call 000.
