FINALLY: This Dog-Friendly Brissy Block Party Is Open To Your Very Good Boys

You know the ONE thing that always seems to be missing from all the rad summer festivals popping up? An ample amount of pet doggo’s to pat in between acts. Never fear puppy-lovers, Brisbane has heard your cries and will now be throwing the dog-friendly Nine Lives Festival.

No longer will pet owners have to choose between a day of live music and hanging out with their fur babies. No longer will non-pet owners who still love the very good boys have to miss the opportunity to pat random pups.

Just get your butt to Fortitude Valley’s Tivoli on Sunday 1st March next year for this day-long 9th birthday celebration of Brisbane’s popular record store, Jet Black Cat Music.

The block party features a bloody good international line-up too. Artists include New Zealand’s Aldous HardingAngie McMahonJulia Jacklin, USA’s Allah-Las and Kevin Morby, Japan’s Kikagaku MoyoRolling Blackouts Coastal Fever and, a personal fave of our very own Music Editor, Aldous. And don’t you worry, there will also be plenty of food and bevvies to keep you and your puppy going.

If you are planning to take the dog, be sure to nab one of the limited number of Doggie Tickets. All tickets go on sale at midday AEDT on October 25th, right over here.
