Zambrero is upping the socially conscious ante tomorrow.
If you’re not familiar, for every burrito, bowl or retail product purchased, the Aussie-born Mexican joint donates a meal to someone in need through their Plate4Plate program. Yep, all day, every day.
But for World Food Day tomorrow, October 16, Zambrero will be doubling that offer by packing + donating 2 x meals for everything bought. The first 400K meals they pack at their meal-packing events across Oz will go to The Philippines, and every bowl, burrito + retail product sold on the day they will be donating 2 additional meals, helping the UN ‘s aim to end world hunger by 2030.
Zambrero has this year enlisted power couple Zoe & Benji Marshall to help with the great divide between the #burritoarmy (led by Zoe) and the #bowlarmy (led by Benji), because we’ll be damned if there isn’t a side to pick with every thing in life.
Besides, who doesn’t want to have a mediocre debate while being charitable? Considering we all need to eat anyway, please, do that at Zambrero tomorrow so you can at least be eating for a cause other than your belleh. Find your local store here.
