This AFL Fan Brought A Charcuterie Board To The MCG & Melbourne Pls

Please prepare yourself for not only the most Melbourne thing you might ever see – apart from that bloody cafe-seating-in-a-skip-bin in Collingwood – but potentially the most Melbourne Demons thing you’ll ever see.

A Dees supporter was spotted at the game against the St Kilda Saints on the weekend with a very bourgie-lookin’ cheese board resting on his knees, as he watched the match at the MCG.

I don’t know if I should be impressed that he had the foresight to bring not one but two wooden boards, or pissed off because apparently a humble Four’n Twenty is seemingly not good enough for his Sunday afternoon palate.

After the image was posted on Reddit, the bloke’s mate chimed in with more info on the guy’s spread, which apparently included a whole salmon that he had in his bag.

Looking at the photo it almost seems a bit contrasting of a dude in a polo and bucket hat has a fuckin’ charcuterie board on his lap while the guy in a tweed jacket and a very fancy Akubra sits next to him with only a bit of bread in his hands.

Maybe this blessing of a nice soft blue cheese was a good omen for the Dees, who came out swinging with a 40-point lead by quarter time, and finished off the Saints with a 24-point win, keeping them in the eight on the ladder.
