Prep Yr Instas, Sydney’s The Grounds Of Alexandria Is Now ‘Aladdin’-Themed

Despite already being pretty as hell, Sydney‘s The Grounds of Alexandria has teamed up with Disney to bring you a stunning new world.

The magical takeover comes ahead of the release of Disney’s live-action adaptation of Aladdin. Taking inspo from Agrabah, fans can make their grand entrance through the majestic archways to discover the treasures within the Cave of Wonders, including a certain golden lamp. Per Concrete Playgroundat 10:00am, 12:00pm, and 2:00pm every day, a Genie will appear to grant you three wishes/probably take pictures with you.

In The Courtyard, throw yourself at textured ottomans and cushions while indulging in one (or five) of their limited edition I Wish For More… Cake: a pistachio sponge layered with chocolate and orange blossom mousse and raspberry confit. This baby is available from The Grounds Cafe for 24 buckeroos.

And drinks? At The Garden Bar, be sure to look out for the colour-changing guava and jasmine butterfly pea slushy for $14 – it’s peak Instagram. Other Aladdin-themed cocktails include a hibiscus and rosehip iced tea served in a giant magic lamp.

But that’s not all because a section of The Grounds has also been transformed into The Market Place where punters can load their plates full of sweet treats and snacks.

Disney’s Aladdin at The Grounds has set up shop until Sunday, 16 June so prepare to see this alllll over your social media feeds for the next couple of weeks.

Also, if you’re in Melbourne and want to make a last minute dash to the Imperial‘s Harry Potter-themed Vertic Alley then by all means, go now. According to their website, Vertic Alley will be vanishing first thing Monday morning meaning its last day is Sunday, 5 May.
