Syd’s Latest Pop-Up Serves 3-Course Meals From Top Chefs + Booze For $30

PEDESTRIAN.TV has partnered with Pepsi Max Vanilla to show that vanilla can be a good thing. Hit up The Vanilla Kitchen HERE.

30 bucks doesn’t get you far in Sydney – heck, it barely covers one night’s rent. This hefty cost of living can also make it hard to keep your stomach lined, which, if you’ve been getting by on home brand 80-cent canned tuna, you know full-well.

Apparently, four of Sydney‘s finest food + drink talent also know your pain. Mitch Orr (ACME), Jimmy Hurlston (Guilty, Easey’s) and Andy Bowdy (Andy Bowdy PastrySaga) have designed a top secret three course meal, with complementary cocktails from Andres Walters (Lobo Plantation, Kittyhawk) for just $30 from June 22-24. That’s pretty wild if I do say so myself.

They’re doing it to prove that vanilla’s anything but basic, by putting together a menu specially designed to push the limits of vanilla as an ingredient. Dubbed The Vanilla Kitchen, it’s to celebrate the release of the new Pepsi Max Vanilla flavour and taking place at Kensington Street in Chippendale‘s The Old Rum Store, but transformed. Would you expect anything less from a pop-up? Surely not.

You can buy the tix HERE.
