Subway Is Doing Delivery & They’re Fanging Out Free Sangas To Celebrate

As much as we all bloody love food delivery apps – and boy howdy, do we ever pay homage to the life-saving genius who brought them into our lives – there’s times where you want nothing more than a good, old fashioned sanga. Just a coupla slices of bread, a few veggies, and maybe a little cheese or protein thrown in there. Molto benne.

Luckily for residents of Melbourne, all that is about to change thanks to the kind folk at Subway.
The sanga fangers have partnered up with Foodora to sling precious, glorious home delivered subs to your door throughout the metropolitan area.
27 Subway restaurants throughout the inner-Melbourne area are, as of today, listed on the Foodora app and website, meaning punters are able to get wrapped around a footlong without having to leave the house.
Better still, the restaurant’s full menu is available through the app, including the ability to build your own sandwich, just as you would inside a physical store.
George Katsikis, Operations Manager for Subway Australia, extolled the virtues of sandwiches to-your-door in a statement issued to media earlier today.

“We are excited to commence the partnership with Foodora to allow us to deliver Subway Subs around Melbourne for the first time! You can now be your own sandwich artist from home. Create your own Sub anyway you like it! Fresh or toasted, your call. It is the next level in convenience and flexibility for our customers.”

The sandwich giant is observing this clearly glorious day by giving away a whole mess of free subs next Thursday, May 11th. On that day all you’ve gotta do is log on between 9am and 10am, hit up the free Subway giveaway option and put your order in. A nice delivery person will bring it directly to you at around 12:30pm that day, totally free of charge (we’re talking no delivery fee and everything). The offer is limited to a mere 100 subs, mind you. So if you’re keen for a free feed we suggest not waiting around until 9:01.

There’s no word just yet on whether Subway plans to expand Foodora delivery services outside of Melbourne just yet.
But for those of you lucky enough to live inside the Melbourne delivery zone, the world is now officially your delicious sandwich.
