Yup, Spanish company called Patatas Torres has invented sparkling wine potato crisps for those looking to add a touch of sophistication to snack time.
Not only do the chippies taste like fizzy wine, some well-placed popping candy recreates the sensation of a mouthful of delightful bubbles.
They’re not exactly cheap, at $12.50 a bag from swanky deli Gourmet Life in Sydney’s Darling Point, but still cheaper than a bottle (although, the alcohol content is 0% so you’re going to need a few bottles of plonk regardless).
