Sure, we won’t be kicking off 2021 with a COVID-free society like we all hoped, but thankfully we’re at least copping some new Shapes flavours.
Arnotts, who have singlehandedly kept me going in 2020 with new biscuit flavours and recipes, are dropping three new Shapes flavours, which will all hit shelves in January.
The three flavours are inspired by Aussie comfort foods, with Double Cheeseburger, Sizzling Steak and Onion and Triple Cheese Toastie all hitting shelves next month.
The triple cheese toastie flavour comprises cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheese flavours.
Meanwhile, the sizzling steak and onion flavour has notes of salty steak and caramelised onion, which honestly sounds delicious.
And don’t even get me started on the double cheeseburger flavour, which honestly sounds like what snack dreams are made of. With the tastes of melted cheese, grilled beef, mustard and onion, my mouth is quite literally already watering at the sound of this.
“We know Aussies love Shapes and are all about the flavour hit which is why we are constantly trialling new and exciting flavours that leave fans wanting more,” Arnott’s Marketing Manager, Shannon Wright said.
“We know the people love the taste of a steak sandwich, a burger and a toastie.”
The cheese toastie flavour will be available at all retailers. However, Woolworths has exclusive rights over the steak sanga flavour, while Coles and independent grocers have their mitts on the cheeseburger.
There’s no specific launch date for the new range, but they will be available sometime in January. So… Grocery mish, anyone?
