Hey burger fans, Tuesday is going to be your lucky day, as you’ll be able to snag yourself a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder for FREE, in celebration of International Burger Day.
What the hell is International Burger Day? I actually have no idea whatsoever, but it doesn’t matter, because the thing we should all be focusing on here is free food, directly to your mouth.

There will be a total of 250,000 burgers to give away on the day. Maccas have said that customers looking to snag their free Quarter Pounder will need to log on to the mymacca’s app and check the My Rewards section.
The mymacca’s app itself is available for download on iOS via the Apple App Store and Android via Google Play.
The giveaway comes a week after the announcement that the Aussie branch of McDonald’s has rolled out a series of improvements to its classic burger range, resulting in what they say are “the best ever Big Macs, Quarter Pounders and Cheeseburgers.”
They said last week: “Some of the changes include the cooking of 100% Aussie beef patties with just the right sear on the grill for juicier patties, onions added at the grill for more flavour, perfectly melted cheese, softer and freshly toasted buns and more special sauce on the Big Mac.”
Maccas have stressed that the offer is limited to one Quarter Pounder per customer, so you’ll need to get your own and have your mates do the same, I guess.
The giveaway is exclusive to customers using the mymacca’s app, and will be available nationally from 5am AEST on May 28, while stocks last.
