Melbourne’s Copping A Badass Japanese Biker Gang Burger Joint & Sake Bar

Japanese cuisine is never not a good idea.
Burgers? Also always a great choice.
What about Japanese burgers, in a Japanese biker gang-style restaurant, complete with a dry-ice spa you can sip cocktails in?
Say no more. I am sold.

A brand new restaurant that’s opened up in the heart of Melbourne‘s South Yarra is boasting all that and more.

Bosozoku is a swish 200 seater burger joint and sake den, and is slinging all your Japanese favourites as well as some very special editions.
Their doors are now open and inviting you to down gyoza, edamame & chicken karaage, as well as the ‘Die By The Sword’ swordfish burger, ‘Road Rage’ sliced wagyu burger and the extravagant ‘Big Lobster BLT’.
Most of their bevvies have a Tokyo-tinged twist, too. Their espresso martini comes complete with vanilla bean sake, they’ve got a wasabi bloody marys too, and cherry blossom-infused gin.
They’ve even got bloody bubble cups. Super kawaii.
In there, you’ll find secret Sake warmer stations, karaoke rooms, pool tables, motorcycle chandeliers, outdoor fire pits, Hitachi train seats and a figurative Onsen (a dry ice spa that you can kick back in whilst sipping on a cocktail).
look! a friggen dry ice SPA thingy to sit in
It’s the brainchild of the folk behind Prahran’s popular Bird Watching Society, and it’s just around the corner. You can check it out at 34 Bray Street, South Yarra, 7 days a week from 5pm – 12am.
The best bit?
When you get there, you’ll be greeted by a literal door bitch; the resident guard dog, Chaos.
Kanpai!
