Prep Your Guts Melbourne, Mary’s Is Coming In Hot For A Pop-Up In The CBD

After putting down solid roots in Sydney and testing the waters with appearances at festivals and other shindigs, the ratbag team from Mary’s are officially making the leap down to Melbourne, opening their frst-ever pop-up with the help of their mates at the brand new CBD haunt; Fancy Free at 381 Little Collins St.

Kicking off from February 13 and running until the last weekend in March, the team behind the most raucous burger institution in Sydney – and maybe the whole country – will be filling up the stomachs of Melburnians with their iconic meaty and mushroom-y burgers, fried chook and mash & gravy (which I would happily slather myself in.)

They’re also filling out a booze list with the help of P&V Merchants, featuring a plethora of local natty plonk, delish beers, and tasty liquid treats for boozehounds and sober sweethearts from the Fancy Free team.

One half of Mary’s team, Kenny Graham, said that he’s super keen to put down some temporary roots in the southern state and start slinging their fatty wares this month.

Mary’s loves Melbourne and being welcomed in by some of the city’s most elite hospo talent was an offer too good to pass on,” he said. “That and it’s gonna be so much fucking fun!

Get your stretchiest eating pants on, Melbourne, you’re gonna need ’em.

Mary’s X Fancy Free pop-up is running Feb 13 until March 31.
