Don’t freak out but the iconic McRib *and* El Maco burgers coming back to McdDonalds on Wednesday. Okay, maybe you can freak out *just* a little.
McDonald’s Australia teased the McRib announcement on Twitter on Monday night, simply tagging a bunch of users who have all tweeted about the beloved burger at some point in their digital lives.
Hey Team. We've brought you here to celebrate something you all have in common @2ndprotagonist @kultha_hier @aciddust3 @raymond75609175 @LoftusVersfeld @crk5 @MattyHuss @Starlitebrigade @Kellie_roser ????♀️
Can you figure it out?

The tease comes just days after they did a poll to bring back one of the company’s most famous previous products. Obviously, the McRib won, because it’s the GOAT.
you can only bring one back:

It has been a long two years without the iconic hangover saviour, but now we can confirm that the McRib is back, baby.
It’s been a hell of a year and honestly, there is nothing more in this world that I want than to sink my teeth into a juicy McRib. Fuck. Me. Up.
When it comes to viral foods, the McRib is truly the OG, and for good reason. Last time they gave us the delicious burger, they described it as “delicious pork dripping in smoky BBQ McRib sauce”, topped with onions, pickles and packed into a soft bun.”
In addition to the McRib, they’re also bringing back the El Maco, which is arguably one of the best burgers they’ve ever done.
And if you’re in the mood for dessert, they’re also slinging mini hotcakes with Nutella, as a little treat.
All three items will be added to the menu on Wednesday, and will be available until January 19 (except the hotcakes, which you can grab untl 16 February).
I mean, if that doesn’t have you getting in your car and going to the drive-thru, I simply don’t know what will.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to soak up my next hangover with a big, juicy pork rib.
