Maccas Workers Reveal Diabolical Trick Used To Stiff Us On Our Precious Fries

Prepare to have all your suspicions about stingy fast-food joints horribly confirmed.

Thanks to a thread on r/AskReddit which asked, “What did your job ask you to hide from customers?” we now know that at least some Maccas employees have been explicitly instructed to stiff us on the fries.

This insanely tight-arsed bit of penny pinching by potato product is accomplished by a little maneoevre in which the fry cook pinches the carton to create the illusion of a full bucket of fries while actually leaving you bereft.

Check it out:

If you think that’s unbelievably cheap, you’d be right. According to another Maccas worker, the fries themselves are dirt cheap:

McDonalds have responded to these claims with your standard-issue corporate denial, telling The Sun:

We believe these claims to be fictional, there are no ‘secret tricks’ and we have strict operational procedures in place to ensure that fry portions are not under-filled.

Without a verified source we are unable to investigate this further.

Our employees work hard to ensure our customers have the best experience possible in our restaurants, and we strongly refute any claims that suggest otherwise.

We know the truth though, Maccas. We will not continue to go under-fries-ed. This kind of injustice will not stand. Ban the carton-pinch! Liberate the cheeseburger meals! Full-sized fries for all!
