Quick! Jump into your bunkers, grab your firearms and prepare for a long period of hibernation; it’s not safe out there. A war has begun raging online as more and more folks are chiming in about the best capsicum colour. And, boy, any conversation that surrounds capsicum is a dangerous one. This is serious business, kids.
Are you team Red? The OG commander in the capsicum game. The ripest. The holiest. Our saviour.
Team Green? Crisp, fresh, slick. Fresh outta the womb.
Or are you team Yellow? (I literally can’t think of anything nice to say about yellow) The literal middle child. Bye.
Also, on a side note, people are currently losing their minds over the fact that green, yellow and red capsicums are in fact the same vegetable, just in different stages of ripeness. My mind is literally fucking blown.
OK so I’ve just found out that green peppers turn yellow then orange then red and they’re actually all the same pepper just less ripe and my mind is blown

Someone pls confirm this furore about all #capsicums being the same vegetable, just at different stages of ripeness? If true, my world has been shaken to its core

Anyway, beside the fact that they’re all essentially the same chilli pepper, the war still rages on about what stage of ripeness – AKA. the colour – people prefer.
It’s anything but yellow, obviously. Yellow sucks.
