Dear Melbourne, Deliveroo Is Dishing $10 Cheese & Wine Boxes This Weekend

There are some things in life which you simply cannot have without the other. Think peanut butter and jelly, bacon and BBQ sauce (fight me), wannabe fashion bloggers and carefully plucked photographer boyfriends, parenting and eternal pain and, of course, cheese and wine.

Between the hours of 4-7pm from Friday August 31st to Sunday September 2nd, Deliveroo and Taylor Made Wines are bringing that shit (shit being a beautifully packaged cheese and wine box) straight to your door for just $10. It really is quite a time to be alive, for Melburnians at least, because that’s the only area in Oz that this offer is exclusive to. Cry me a river, halloumi face.

If I’m honest, as a Sydneysider I am well jel. Do I want to order a cheese and wine box to Centennial Park this Saturday? Absolutely. Do I want to order a cheese and wine box to the office on Friday afternoon? Yes, but only if my boss pays. So Melbourne people (specifically those in PrahranSt Kilda and Windsor), do me a goddamn solid and order one of these simply because I cannot.

The cheese and wine boxes have been expertly put together by Aussie craftsmen (TRADIES? WHERE? Hello date me), are styled to bragging-right perfection by Taylor Made and are filled with Maker & Monger fromage and Piece of Cheese hand-crafted accompaniments. Oh and get this: there’ll be Taylor Made X Deliveroo horse and carriages delivering these to picnic setups throughout the weekend.

Just like all grog deliveries, you’ll need to be 18 and prove it with your ID upon arrival. There’s also only 100 of these boxes up for grabs per day, so thirst in, thirst dressed.

Get amongst it via the Deliveroo app.
