Hang With Peking Duk & Make A Chip Sanga At Smith’s Delish Concept Kitchen

Most of you are probably across Peking Duk‘s ability to make a bonafide banger. A bonafide sanga, however? That’s certainly new information to us. But hey, here we are, discussing Peking Duk’s culinary skills and presence at a goddamn chip sanga kitchen.

Here’s what’s what: Smith’s Chips have been out ‘n about in New South Wales with their street food van to celebrate their new Street Eats range of flavours – chips that have been inspired by the curb-side delicacies of three different countries. In what seems like an orchestration of fate, the three flavours are American Pulled Pork, Mexican Burrito and Peking Duck.

Naturally, Smith’s Chips reached out to our homegrown-electro duo to see if they’d be game on being involved in a pop-up chip sanga kitchen dedicated to our childhood snack of yore. Evidently, they agreed.

Taking place on March 29th at Notre Dame University, punters will be able to head down to the food truck event Smith’s Chips is hosting. But unlike the other events, this one will see the chip sanga kitchen pop up for one day alongside it.  There, you’ll be able to make a *kisses fingers* creation with free ingredients/score yourself free Street Eats chips from the food trucks.

So yeah, if you’ve got a better way to spend a few hours, then we’re all ears.

And to top it all off, P.TV staff will be on hand with iPads to ensure your unholy creation is entered into the competition we’re currently running with Smith’s Chips.

Together, we want to literally transport your taste buds by offering up a $10,000 Flight Centre voucher for Australia’s best chip sanga. To have a crack at taking out the prize, you’ll need to get around the Smith’s Chips Chippie Sanga Challenge – AKA the hunt for Australia’s most gifted chip sanga maker. Yep, just tell us in 25 words or less what your creation (ft. a flavour from Smith’s Chips Street Eats range) would contain and make us aggressively hungry (being a judge is a hard gig, after all). You’ll also have the chance to upload a video or pic of your creation if you made it IRL to really blow our socks off.
