The US burger lunatics are officially throwing the doors open at their newest Australian store tomorrow morning, with the store at Knox Westfield to serve as the first Victorian location for the global franchise.

Carl’s Jr has slowly been making headway in the Australian market, after opening their first Australian store on the NSW Central Coast. Since then, the burgerologists have made significant headway in both Queensland (five stores) and South Australia (two).

Tomorrow’s grand opening in Knox represents the first of three stores set to open in Victoria before the end of the year. The company is set to open a location in Cranbourne come mid-November, and Docklands by early December.

The company is not moving into Victoria quietly either. The grand opening at Knox will also see 50 extremely lucky and hungry punters gifted with a year’s supply of free burgers.

The first 50 meatheads through the door will receive enough free grub to last them an entire 12 months, with the winners being crowned at the store opening ceremony at 9am tomorrow morning.

The doors to the new store then officially open to the public from 11am onwards.

It’s a bold new burger-filled world as of tomorrow, fellow Victorians. A bold new burger-filled world indeed.
