Turn Easter Sunday Up To 11 With This ‘Egg-Spresso Martini’ Choccy Egg

Ah, Easter. That time of year when you eat far too much chocolate and spend your entire long weekend feeling extremely sorry for yourself. Or, if you’re like me you wait patiently until Easter Monday and go buy all the cheap chocolate on sale. Also, hot cross buns; a March/April delicacy that should be available for me to buy at all times of the year.

This year’s egg-cellent offering to the chocolate gods is a very boozy-lookin’ espresso martini thing from Bakedown Cakery.

If you cast your mind back to late last year, Bakedown were the folks that printed your pet’s face on a block of chocolate in time for Christmas. Now they wanna get you as nailed as Jesus for the blessed long weekend. You might resurface a couple of days later after chowing down on these gluttonous eggies, but I can’t guarantee it.

The eggs sound bloody delish, lemme tell you. Each hand-painted shell is made of a tasty french chocolate (none of that gross cheapo chocolate here, folks) while the innards are a gooey concoction of chocolate ganache, Kahlua, and some more espresso-heavy yums.

It’s like a grown-ups version of a Creme Egg, but more naughty and also coffee.

Although Bakedown are based in Sydney‘s St Leonards, coffee and chocolate and cocktail lovers can order this bad boy online through their site.

I demand that everyone buys me one of these things immediately.
