Sometime model, NYC scenster and musician Lissy Trullie infuses the blissed out club hedonism of Hot Chip's "Ready For The Floor" with a hint of longing desperation, a dash of breathy vocals and a shake of Lower East Side dive bar grit. The end result is far less contrived than you would think.
The video was directed by Richard Kern which is surprising for the abundance of clothing in the clip.
"Ready For The Floor" is taken from Lissy Trullie's Self-Taught Learner LP.
