News.

Throughout the past few weeks Vivid LIVE has turned the Sydney Opera House into your parent's garage, a cool toddler convention and an S&M nightmare factory. We welcome the shake up of course, but also appreciate that amidst the weed smoking yoofs and terrifying orgy footage at least one act restored the stately elegance to which we're accustomed.

Natasha Khan aka Bat For Lashes' played her debut Australian shows in Sydney last week, mesmerizing with previews of new material from her as-yet-untitled third album and luscious string-led covers of Radiohead's "All I Need" and "Lullaby" by Vivid tour mates The Cure. The newie slips into the electro ballad niche she carved out with "Daniel" and the like. Watch/hear all the goodness below...

New Bat For Lashes song...

Daniel is a brilliant song. Interesting fact: it didn't score a place in JJJ's hottest 100 the year it was released.

@Chris Wirasinha
is it really a surprised that the triple j audience didn't vote for a good song?

... sigh, wish could have afford to go to the Opera House show.....

She is so unbelievably hot that I was told off by people in the row in front of me for drooling all over their seat.

Also, her Radiohead cover was far and away the best thing ever. Well done, #swaglovic,
