Features.
Having holidayed to Japan last year the once bright lights of Shibuya are slowly fading in my memory, the trailer for "Tokyo!" thankfully, bought everything back in vibrant neon colour.
"Tokyo!" features three smaller films: "Interior Design" by Michel Gondry, "Merde" by Leos Carax, and "Shaking Tokyo" by Bong Joon-ho and all focus on a central theme or shall we say location. You guessed it, Tokyo. Much like "Paris Je't Aime" the directors explore wildly divergent stories in their own unique visual aesthetics with the only constant being the fair city herself.
