Anyone who was present at Friendly Fires' rousing mid-afternoon Splendour In The Grass set will know that frontman Ed Macfarlane has more endearingly unabashed dance moves than a drunken six year old. From afar, his hip-shaking white-boy swagger suggested that either an epileptic fit was imminent or something was stuck in his trousers. Thankfully it was neither.
If you haven't had the pleasure of seeing Friendly Fires live those very same moves are on display in the new video for "Kiss Of Life", their percussion heavy Samba-inspired party jam. The accompanying video features some longing stares (courtesy of Macfarlane), a world music drumline and criminally enthusiastic hip thrusting, so yeah, it's a little corny. But the song itself is The Lion King theme on uppers so we'll give it a pass.
