Like its older brother "Silent Alarm" the dance floor friendly jams from Bloc Party's third studio album "Intimacy" will be tweaked, cut and shuffled by the likes of Filthy Dukes, No Age, Mogwai and Phones and resold as "Intimacy Remixed".
If the album is half as interesting as the below video for Arman Van Helden's remix of "Signs" then it should easily be album of the year. In a throwback to the industrial dance music videos of the nineties human anatomy is replaced with clubbing paraphernalia, you know, dials for eyes, LED lights for spines, disco balls for heads and most abrasive of all in an homage to Sharon Stone circa Basic Instinct a downstairs mix up that would shame even Old Gregg.
